The company builds, owns, and manages passive telecom infrastructure, enabling mobile network operators to expand coverage, improve network access, and operate efficiently across multiple regions.

Helios Towers delivers infrastructure-as-a-service offerings that include site acquisition, maintenance, power management, security, and hosting of active telecom equipment. APIs play a critical role in enabling real-time access to site, asset, and project data across internal and partner-facing systems.

Business Objective

Helios Towers aimed to establish a centralized, scalable API ecosystem to support real-time access to operational data while reducing platform costs and technical complexity. The organization wanted to move away from its incumbent MuleSoft platform and adopt Kong as a modern API gateway, without disrupting live business operations.
